Stretched out over just a few thousand acres, the Champagne region and its vineyards are revered the world-over. Lush and deep green in spring and summer, russet in autumn and white in winter, this is a rare and precious place.
Lanson is privileged to gather its grapes from 800 acres of the regions most prestigious vineyards, which produce the three noble varietals : the powerful Pinot Noir, the rounder, fruitier Pinot Meunier, and the delicately elegant Chardonnay grape. Each varietal is imbued with the unique characteristics of the chalky soil, and the vines that produce it.
After harvesting, the grapes undergo a rigorous selection process before being sent to the wine presses located at the very heart of the vineyards.
